Understanding Lyme Disease  

Workshop with Medical Herbalist  - Maryna Floren

Lyme Disease is a growing concern in Nova Scotia, with its prevalence increasing over recent years. This workshop is desiged for everyone whether you have Lyme Disease or not.  We will provide comprehensive insights into Lyme Disease, discuss preventive measures, offer support to those affected,  and explore herbal remedies to complement conventional treatments.

The workshop begins with an in-depth overview of Lyme Disease tailored for Atlantic Canada. Attendees will learn about the epidemiology of Lyme Disease, including common symptoms, modes of transmission, and prevalent tick habitats. Special emphasis will be placed on early detection and prevention strategies, empowering participants to minimize their risk of infection.

Following the discussion on Lyme Disease, our herbalist will delve into the realm of herbal support for individuals whether they are undergoing antibiotic treatment or not. Drawing upon traditional wisdom and contemporary research, medical herbalist, Maryna Floren, will introduce various herbs known for their immune-supportive, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.
